Tuition Benefit Update

There have been some exciting updates to our education/tuition reimbursement benefit recently!  The tuition reimbursement amount has increased from $2,000 per calendar year to $5,000 per calendar year. 

What would I need to do to get the process started?

Submit the Request for Education Benefit form along with appropriate signatures.  The updated form can be found on the company Intranet under Forms, titled Request for Education Benefit.  Alternatively, you may e-mail training@hhwaz.org to request the most updated form to complete and return.  Please refer to the Standard Operating Procedures – HR301, Education, Training and Staff Development on the company’s intranet for specific information on what qualifies for educational reimbursement.  

What if I’ve already met the previous maximum for this 2022 calendar year of $2,000.  Am I still eligible to use the remaining money for education reimbursement?

Yes, as long as the course(s) end during the 2022 calendar year, then you can use the remaining money for tuition reimbursement.  Any course that ends in the new calendar year, will start over with the $5,000 maximum reimbursement.  

Are there certain requirements to be considered for the education benefit?

Yes, you must have completed ninety days of employment with Horizon Health and Wellness and the request must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the course(s). The request must include the tuition cost, per course, on the form.

What happens after the course(s) is completed?

When the course is completed, submit your grade(s)  to training@hhwaz.org from an official school grade report and we will process for reimbursement.
