NAMI Walk
Horizon will be participating at the annual NAMI walk on October 15. It’s a new day for mental health. Join our team as we step into NAMIWalks Your Way 2022, which promises to be our most meaningful event ever.

Pumpkins in the Junction - Family Fun and Adventure
Horizon Health and Wellness will be hosting a “Pumpkins in the Junction” event for the community, neighbors, and families to enjoy free family fun outdoors at the 4-acre Earth Heart Park & Community Garden.
The free community event will be held on Friday, October 28 from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Horizon’s Earth Heart Park – located at 625 N. Plaza Drive in Apache Junction.
Bring your kids and have them dress up in their favorite Halloween costume, or just come as you are. There will be a variety of activities for kids, including the following:
- Pumpkin painting
- Participate in a rock scavenger hunt with prizes (begins promptly at 5:15 p.m.)
- Rock painting
- Trunk or Treating – Vehicles/golf carts will have their trunks decked out with Halloween decorations and kids collect candy at each stop
- The best decorated vehicle will receive a prize: Honk if you love candy
- Meet with master gardeners
- Free food provided by Kabat’s Frontier Ace Hardware
- And much more!
Celebrate the fall season with a night of family fun! The event will take place at the park and in the back parking lot. Please park along Plaza Drive or in the parking lot next to Horizon’s building.
Horizon's North Valley Pediatrics Clinic to Host Open House on November 3
Horizon’s North Valley Pediatrics Clinic will host a community open house at its new facility on Thursday, November 3, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The open house is an opportunity for patients, neighbors and families to tour the new clinic, participate in games and enjoy some refreshments. People who attend will be able to meet and spend some time with the Pediatricians and staff. There also will be food, along with a balloon artist, raffle prizes, swag bags and fun children’s activities. Families who attend will have an opportunity to schedule a future appointment for their children.
Located at 702 E. Bell Road, Suite 107, Phoenix, AZ 85022, Horizon’s North Valley Pediatrics Clinic will provide comprehensive pediatric care. They started seeing patients at this new location on August 15, 2022, to care for children previously seen at the Clinic on 14045 N. 7th Street. With this move into a new facility, Horizon’s North Valley Pediatrics Clinic is expanding in every way possible to meet the growing needs of the North Valley community.

Spirit Week
Get ready to don your goofy attire because October 31 – November 4 is spirit week! This week is all about having fun and getting to show off your silly side with specific spirit days, including hat day, sock day, Halloween Spirit Day, and more. Details to come.
Thankful Potluck and Appreciation Turkeys
November is the perfect time to reflect on what you are thankful for, including your co-workers! Paper turkeys will be provided for you to write messages of appreciation for co-workers that will be delivered throughout the week. We will also celebrate the thankful season with a potluck. Watch for more details.
